Pure Barre Greenwich and Green & Tonic Partner for Wellness Challenge
Pure Barre Greenwich and Green & Tonic have teamed up to offer the Pure42 Challenge, an exciting and unique wellness challenge for women, starting on April 24th. This full body reset program will take place over the course of six weeks (42 days) where participants will take a total of 30 Pure Barre classes as well as earn points for tracking food, exercise, sleep, hydration and recovery time. The Pure42 Challenge sign-up deadline is April 22nd, which will also be the night of the informative Pure42 Kick-off Event on April 22nd. The competition will start on April 24th and end on June 4th. “While the goal is for every participant to find their strongest self in 42 Days, the winner will receive a six month unlimited membership to Pure Barre Greenwich and a $100 Gift Card to Green &Tonic,” explained Pure Bare Greenwich owner Ashley Allen. “Just like Pure Barre classes, this competition is perfect for exercising and nutrition novices, pros and all those in between. Whether you’re 20 years old or 70 years old, if you could use some support and improvement for the entire body, then the Pure42 Challenge is the program for you.”
Aside from the Pure Barre classes, the cost to participate in the Pure42 Challenge is only $50 per person and it includes body composition testing and measurements, a strong community to keep you on track, a tracking journal and detailed guidance from Kristina Hess, Green & Tonic’s Director of Nutrition and Wellness Programs. “The goal of the Pure42 Challenge is to bring the body back into balance by working on all of the lifestyle pieces,” said Kristina. “Green & Tonic’s mantra of ‘revive with real food’, works particularly well for this program as I’ll be guiding participants on which fresh and non-processed foods to be eating throughout the challenge. Eating healthy food is a major part of achieving success in this challenge.”
The Pure42 Challenge came to fruition when Ashley reached out to Green & Tonic, knowing a partnership between the two businesses would offer program participants with optimal results. There have already been two-dozen sign-ups and the entire Pure Barre Greenwich staff will be participating as well. “With Pure Barre Greenwich classes everyone is able to achieve success differently based on their own personal milestones,” said Ashley. The challenge will work in a similar way where participants’ success in the program will vary from losing inches off their waist, feeling stronger and having more energy, getting back into an exercise program or simply changing their eating habits.
“We’re so hard on ourselves,” explained Kristina. “This challenge will help relieve some of that with daily supervision and a huge support system.” Participants will feel encouraged by the group especially when everyone will see each other at classes and share ideas and solutions, offer support and provide favorite recipes through a private facebook group.
The Pure42 Challenge officially begins on April 24th but sign-ups must be in before the April 22nd Pure42 Kick-off Event. For additional information about this program visit www.Pure42Challenge.com, Facebook @PureBarreGreenwich or call owner Ashley Allen at (203) 489-3500.
