WARM UP with our G&T twist on an age-old medicinal beverage, the Hot Toddy. Traditionally a soothing blend of tea, honey, lemon, and whiskey, our version uses Fire Cider- a potent infusion of herbs and spices in apple cider vinegar. It’s got a kick- enough to help knock out those pesky germs. But if you prefer your kick from whiskey, then go for it… we won’t tell. Either way, grab your mug, snuggle up and sip slowly.
Ingredients
1 Lemon Ginger Teabag
½ cup Water
½ cup Apple Cider
1 tsp Raw Honey
1 tsp Fire Cider (or a shot of whiskey)
Lemon Wedge
Method
1. Place your tea bag in your favorite mug.
2. Heat water and apple cider together until hot. Pour over the teabag and let steep for 2 minutes. Discard tea bag.
3. Stir in honey, fire cider (or whiskey), and a squeeze of lemon juice.
