G&T Announces 4th Quarter Same Store Sales & 2016 Results


Fourth Quarter Same Store Sales Increased 22%


COS COB, CT (February 20, 2017) – Green & Tonic, one of Connecticut’s fastest growing health food and beverage brands, announces an incredibly strong Q4 with same-store sales rising 22 percent over the previous year. The chain also achieved a 29% percent system-wide increase in average unit volumes over the same period last year. This follows on the heels of a positive Q4, despite restaurant industry declines overall.

Green & Tonic attributes its strong financial performance to:

  • The addition of its new café in Westport, CT, bringing the chain’s total to five locations. Other Connecticut locations are in Cos Cob, Darien, Greenwich and New Canaan. The new café boasts a larger footprint of 1400 square feet and expanded seating.
  • High-performing food and beverage launches by introducing over 20 new menu items including the introduction of baked goods and indulgent dessert offerings.
  • Partnered with Zingle to develop and launch a text ahead ordering platform to increase efficiency.
  • A re-design of the website and e-commerce feature boosted new customer counts while significantly driving loyalty and repeat visits.
